How to Create a New Layout in Scrivener

by RS on October 2, 2013

I decided that this blog needs some jazzing up and go beyond the typical posts and pictures. I’ve taken the leap and tried for the very first time  my hand at screencasting and use it specifically for the software tutorials.

So … here it is. I spent far too much time on it, but now I have a good idea how it all works. This wasn’t scripted–mostly from the top of my head. I hope it makes sense.

While I had no issue with your previous method of doing tutorials, I do think seeing the techniques and actions demonstrated on video makes it much easier to process the instructions and learn what you're teaching. Thanks for doing this!

Great job, Rebeca! I enjoyed hearing you speak, too. The only suggestion I could add is I'd love a simple bullet point list (no details needed) to refer back to when working on my own.

@Leanne Baldwin Thanks for watching! Yeah, I think so too. I think with this method, I'll have more tutorials as well. Writing and editing all the screenshots is so time consuming!
